A limited grievance raised in this petition is that though the proposal for correction in surname of the petitioner has been forwarded by respondent No.6 to respondent No.3, same is kept pending and not decided till the date.

We direct respondent No.3 to consider the said proposal and take a decision, if already not taken, as expeditiously as possible; however, within six weeks from today and communicate the decision so

It is needless to observe that respondent No.3 shall not reject the said proposal on the ground that the petitioner has already left the school. He shall decide the said proposal keeping in view the provisions of Clause 26.4 of the Secondary School Code. Petition stands disposed of on above terms.
