Mrs Rasal, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that respondent no.3 be directed to hold an enquiry into the allegations made by the petitioner under his complaint dated 28-08-2018 in respect of the work of water supply to the villagers of village Nasratpur / Hassapur. The petitioner had made complaint that the work done is of inferior quality.

The In-charge Deputy Engineer, Sub Divisional Water Conservation Office, Zilla Parishad, Nanded has filed affidavit. The affidavit categorically states about the work done in a proper manner.

It would be appropriate to reproduce para no.6 of the affidavit, which reads thus:

"6.

I say and submit that, the wok of National Rural Drinking Water Scheme is done in very proper manner, during the work the quality control Unit at Nanded has conducted the inspection and concrete test report is also submitted with Zilla Parishad, Nanded.

I say and submit that, some objections which are raised by the petitioner like i) the rising main line connected from well to Nasratpur village is not completed ii) the switch room constructed near village is not completed by plastering, finishing and tiles are not fitted; iii) Underground rising main line from Godavari River to New Hassapur village is not done properly iv) The air value fitted on the main line is not of good quality; v) There is leakage in the incoming and outgoing valves fitted on water tank and therefore, without storing the water in the tank it is being directly attached to direct distribution line; vi) the distribution water pipeline is fitted over open land and at the some places it is placed underground about one foot to one and half feet only.

Water distribution to the villagers is not properly done because of leakage on the pipe line at most of the places Etc.

I say and submit that, since the railway line is crossing over the raising main, therefore, the said work is to be done by the railway department only and the deponents department has transferred the necessary funds to the railway department and requested to do the work of raising main at railway line. This work is to be done by the railway department and not to be done by the Zilla Parishad authority. The Zilla Parishad authority have completed pipelines from Godavari River up to Railway Line and from Railway Line to storage tank. The patch of railway line is remained to be completed. After completion of said work from railway department, the line will be joined. Time being as an alternate arrangement of supply of water is done and there is no any difficulties of water supply to village Nasratpur / Hassapur. The water supply is smoothly going on to the

It appears that the inspection has been conducted. The allegations made by the petitioner are investigated. The affidavit filed on record deals with every avernment of the petitioner.

In light of above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
