On being pointed out that prayers made in the writ petition can be considered by taking recourse to the remedy provided under section 79 (7) of The Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to take recourse to the aforesaid remedy.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
