The petitioner filed the claim for seeking validation of his "Koli Malhar", Scheduled Tribe, in March, 2018 with the competent scrutiny committee. On 15.01.2021, he took away the original tribe certificate on the pretext that he was aspiring to join the force and needed the said certificate for securing employment. Though he assured the committee that he would return the certificate within three months, he actually tendered the certificate on 07.08.2021.

The learned AGP submits, on instructions, that

*2* 87wp9151o22 considering the workload before the committee, it would require at least four months for decision. He points out that there are Diwali vacations falling in this period.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off.

Respondent No.2 Committee shall pronounce it's decision on the claim proposal of the petitioner, on or before 30.12.2022. The petitioner would render cooperation to the Committee and refrain from seeking adjournment on unreasonable or trivial ground, lest the Committee would be justified in progressing to the next stage in the proceedings. kps (ARUN R.
