Present petition has been filed for directing respondent no.2 to decide Parole leave application of the petitioner within a period of one week. The petitioner is seeking parole leave on medical ground i.e. illness of his son. 2.

Learned APP, on instructions, makes a statement that the said application would be decided within three weeks as it is pending for Police verification.

Taking into consideration the fact that the medical certificate appears to be given is of the month February, 2022 and the petitioner is not placing on record what is the current status of health of his son, though we intended to take a sympathetic view, but since the petitioner is not ready to produce on record the latest health report of his son, we dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent no.2 to decide the application of the petitioner immediately after the receipt of the Police report.
