Petitioners agree that the challenge raised in the petitions relate to employment under the State Government. It is not disputed before us that the process initiated by the State Government in respect of appointment to the post under the Maharashtra Municipal Services is infact referable to the appointment under the Government and as such, the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal is the competent forum to exercise the jurisdiction in relation to the service matters.
{3} Considering this aspect and considering urgency in the matter, we direct the Registry to transfer these petitions to the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal for adjudication. The Registry shall take steps for transfer of the matters forthwith. 3.
Petitioners may cause appearance before the tribunal on 23rd August, 2018.
