Learned Counsel for respondent-University makes statement on written instructions received today, which are taken on record and marked "X" for identification, that for the next academic year 2016-17, the University would follow the procedure as under :- 2.

The teachers who are desirous of getting admission to Ph.D. course should first appear for entrance examination of the respective Universities. They shall submit their results to the University for seeking 'no objection certificate' and for seeking study leave. The University will give 'no objection certificate' to those who are senior amongst entrance test passed teachers.
