In the light of the clarificatory letters from the Directorate of Technical Education addressed to all the Divisional Offices in the State of Maharashtra, namely, at Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati and Nagpur, none of the recognized Institutions shall insist on production of the validity certificate.

In the circumstances, the insistence in these cases by the Respondent / College is contrary to this directive. We, therefore, direct the Respondent / College to abide by the directives from the Director of Technical Education dated 19.07.2017 and permit the Petitioners to continue studies.

This order will mean that the fees should be accepted, the Petitioners be enrolled and admitted for further academic sessions/ terms, they should be allowed to appear for examinations, results be

( 3 ) declared and even degree certificates be issued, but all this is subject to the pending proceedings before the Scrutiny Committees and the orders made therein.
