1] Learned counsel for the Highway Authority submits that the application under section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, challenging the award passed by the Arbitrator is already filed in the principal court of ordinary original civil jurisdiction. The said application is heard. The Highway Authority shall deposit the amount under the award passed by the Arbitrator, in proceedings under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, within a period of 3 months from today. The said deposit shall be subject to the further orders passed by the District Court, in Section 34 proceedings.
2] Writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
