This is an application seeking permission to renew the passport.

The applicant had faced trial in Special Case No.203 of 2016, in which he was convicted and sentenced for five years. However, this Court has suspended the sentence awarded by the Sessions Court, by order dated 11.10.2018 in Criminal Application No.2827 of 2018 in criminal appeal No. 700 of 2018.

The learned APP has strongly objected the application. 4.

Considering the reasons as stated in the application, the prayer for permission for renewal of the passport deserves to be allowed. Accordingly, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause "B" and disposed of.
