Petitioner's appeal is pending before the respondent - scrutiny committee preferred against the order of the Sub Divisional Officer - competent authority refusing to issue him caste certificate. 2.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the committee to decide the appeal as expeditiously as possible and in any case within two weeks after appearance of the petitioner. 3.

The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 13 August 2024 and the committee shall decide the appeal within two weeks thereafter.
