Present application has been filed for quashment of a non cognizable offence bearing No.554/2023 dated 04.07.2023 registered with Shivajinagar Police Station, Beed, for the offence punishable under Sections 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. It appears that investigating agency has not taken the permission as required under Section 155(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and, therefore, it has not resulted in any case. Powers under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure cannot be exercised for quashing non cognizable offence. Therefore, application stands rejected.
