The learned AGP points out that the petitioner has an alternate remedy by filing an appeal.

In view of that, we are not inclined to entertain the writ petition on merits. Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail the alternate remedy. All contentions are kept open. No costs.

In case, the petitioner files an appeal, then the authority where the appeal is filed shall consider the application of the petitioner for release of the vehicle, expeditiously.
