The learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2 submits that the respondents are ready to absorb the petitioner. However, because of ban on recruitment, the petitioner cannot be absorbed. 2.

We have held in many matters that ban on recruitment would not apply for the appointments on compassionate ground. 3.

The petitioner is already placed at serial No.6 in the wait-list of the persons to be appointed on compassionate ground. In case the post is available, then the petitioner may be absorbed by the respondents as per its turn in the wait-list.
