PER COURT :- The petitioner claims to belong to Chhapparband caste, which is included in Vimukta Jati (VJ) category. She has been admitted to Pharmacy course, as against a seat reserved for VJ category and completed first year degree course. The caste certificate issued to the petitioner has been referred to the Scrutiny committee for verification and proposal is stated to be pending.

{2} wp 8421.16.odt This petition can be disposed of by directing the respondent No.1 committee to take decision on the caste certificate verification proposal of the petitioner, pending with the scrutiny committee, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight months from today and it is accordingly directed. It is informed that, as a result of failure of the petitioner to submit validation certificate, respondent No.2 university has not declared result of the second semester of the first year B.Pharm. Course of the petitioner. In the facts & circumstances of the case, respondent No.2 University is directed to declare the result of the petitioner of the second semester of first year B.Pharm. course forth-with and if the petitioner is found otherwise eligible, respondent No.3 shall admit the petitioner to next year course. The admission of the petitioner to respondent No.3 college shall be subject to result of the caste certificate verification proposal pending with respondent No.1 committee.
