After this Court was not inclined to entertain the second successive bail application, filed after the earlier bail application, was permitted to be withdrawn as this Court was not inclined to grant bail. It is informed by the learned APP that the trial has already commenced and eight witnesses have been examined. Hence, in view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in X Vs. State of Rajasthan and Ors.; 2024 (4) Crimes 537 (SC), once the Trial Court has commenced recording evidence and the prosecution has started examining its witnesses, the Courts should be loath to entertainthe bail applications of the accused.

Considering that the trial has already commenced and, as informed by the learned APP, eight witnesses have already been examined, the Trial Court shall make an endeavor to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible.
