Mr. Jayabhar, the learned counsel submits that, application has been filed before the Collector, Ahmednagar for grant of rental compensation. The possession of the land has been taken prior to issuance of notification U/Sec. 4 of the Land Acquisition Act and the same is not yet decided.

We have heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader also.

In case the application of the present petitioner seeking

2 wp 10907.15 rental compensation (page 12) is pending with the respondents, then the respondent authorities shall decide the same on its own merits, as per law, rules and policy, after hearing all the parties concerned expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight
