Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. With the consent of the parties, the petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

The petitioner is before this Court seeking direction that, the proposal, wherein he is claiming time-bound promotion scale, is pending with Respondent No.2 - Jalgaon Municipal Corporation since long, and

( 2 ) 933 WP-13782-2021 therefore prays that the same may be directed to be decided expeditiously.

Considering the fact that, admittedly, the said proposal is pending with the Respondent No.2 - Jalgaon Municipal Corporation since 2014, we dispose of this writ petition by directing the Respondent No.2 - Jalgaon Municipal Corporation to take appropriate decisions in respect of claim of the petitioner for the time-bound promotion scale as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within a period of eight (8) weeks from today.

With these directions, writ petition stands disposed off. 6.

Rule made absolute in above terms.
