Present first appeals are filed along with applications for condonation of delay of 4503 Days. The learned AGP opposes the applications for condonation of delay.

The learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the applicants/appellants submits that the applicants/appellants are poor agriculturists residing in a remote area and their lands are compulsorily acquired for public project and they were not aware of the legal process, and therefore the delay is caused. He further submits that delay be condoned subject to condition that they would not claim any interest for the delay period.

In view of the submission made, the applications are allowed and the delay caused in filing first appeal is condoned subject to the condition that applicants/appellants shall not claim interest for the delay period.
