Leave to add Sub-Divisional Officer, Shrirampur, as party respondent. 2.

This petition can be disposed of by issuing direction to the SubDivisional Officer, Shrirampur, to consider the grievance raised by petitioners in this petition and, after perusing the relevant record, pass appropriate order in consonance with the scheme. If the Sub-Divisional Officer comes to the conclusion that petitioners are entitled to receive benefits, he may issue necessary instructions. Writ petition together with annexures and reply tendered on behalf of the State shall be considered as part of the representation and the stand of the State Government. It would be open for the Sub-Divisional Officer to call for original record for arriving at proper decision. The Sub-Divisional Officer shall complete the enquiry and pass appropriate order as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a

wp7932.14.doc period of three months from today. It is clarified that the decision of the Sub-Divisional Officer shall be conclusive and final. With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
