Order :- 1.

The petitioner claims to be belonging to "Manerwarlu", Scheduled Tribe (ST) and is in receipt of a tribe certificate issued by the competent authority, certifying accordingly. The petitioner has been admitted to engineering diploma course in respondent No. 3 - College. It is informed that the tribe certificate issued in favour of petitioner is referred for certification to respondent No. 2 - Scrutiny Committee and the tribe certificate verification proposal is pending with respondent No. 2 - Scrutiny Committee.

2. In the facts of the case, this petition can be disposed of by directing respondent No. 2 -Scrutiny Committee to take decision on the proposal in respect of tribe certificate verification pertaining to the petitioner, which is pending before it, as expeditiously as possible,

2 WP-8423.16 preferably within a period of eight months from today and it is accordingly directed.

In the meanwhile, Respondent No. 3 - College is directed to permit the petitioner to secure admission for next year engineering diploma course. Admission of the petitioner to the next year engineering diploma course in respondent No. 3 - College, shall be subject to decision of proceedings in respect of tribe certificate verification claim pending with respondent No. 2 - Committee. 4.
