By order dated 14.03.2016, this Court directed the respondents not to take coercive action against the petitioner and continue him in employment and pay him monthly wages including arrears. On 30.06.2016 petitioner's services were terminated as his period of appointment came to an end on 30.06.2016. The petitioner claims that respondents have committed contempt of the order passed by this Court.

Respondents have filed affidavit in reply and claimed that Bhagyawant Punde
{2} 1011-CP-548-2016 petitioner was appointed on contractual basis for a period of 11 months in a scheme funded by the Central Government. Since the scheme has come to an end, petitioner's services were terminated. 3.
In the light of above, we are of the view that there is no willful disobedience on the part of respondents. Contempt petition being devoid of merits is dismissed.

Petitioner may prosecute his writ petition and seek appropriate relief.
