It is not in dispute that the judgment delivered in Writ Petition Nos. 6270/2014 and 6279/2014 governs the prayer clause (B) of the present petition.

As far as prayer clause (A) is concerned, we have perused the notice issued at the behest of the petitioners on August 26, 2014, in which, the prayer is also impugned in the prayer clause (B) only. That being so, the said prayer which is in the form of prayer clause (A) cannot be granted by this Court.

However, in the facts and circumstances of the case, we deem it appropriate to permit the petitioners to approach the respondents/authorities with a detailed representation seeking allotment of land in lieu of their land being already surrendered to the respondent No.4 and we expect the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to take decision on such 1/2

949-WP-9102-2014.doc representations of the petitioners which shall be preferred within a period of two weeks from today expeditiously and in any case within a period of ten weeks thereafter.

The petition stands disposed of.
