PER COURT :- 1) This petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to District Collector, Ahmednagar to take appropriate decision on the representation tendered to him in respect of regularization of encroachment over the land allegedly committed by the petitioner, within stipulated period and in accordance with the guidelines issued by the State Government in that behalf and in observance of the Judgment of the Supreme Court in the matter of Jagpal Sing & Ors. Vs. State of Punjab and Ors., reported in 2011 (11) SCC 396.

2) Without entering into merits of the petition, the petition stands disposed of with directions to the District collector to take a decision on the representation submitted by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four months from today.
