These are the applications for seeking condonation of delay caused in filing the first appeals.

The State has objected for condonation of delay.

Perused the applications and particularly grounds set out in para Nos. 2 & 3 of the applications. It is submitted that due to illiteracy and poverty the applicants were not in a position to file appeals within stipulated period.

Having regard to the nature of the litigation and cause canvassed for delay, it stands condoned on condition that the applicants are not entitled for interest or any other statutory benefits for delayed period.

The applications stand disposed of. The appeals be registered accordingly.
