ORAL JUDGMENT :

Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. By consent, heard both the sides for final disposal. 2) It is the grievance of the petitioner that his land was acquired for extension of Amrawati - Surat National Highway and award was also delivered

W.P.No. 8882/16 under which he was entitled to get Rs.9,35,330/-. It is his grievance that even when there was award in his favour, the amount was not made available by the National Highway Authority, the Acquiring Body and the amount is not paid to him. He made representation on 28.4.2016. It is his grievance that even when the representation is made, no response is given to his representation. He has produced the relevant record showing the chart prepared by the Authority for making disbursement of the amount received as compensation. There is mention about the acquisition made of the land of the present petitioner, but in the column of receipt, there is no signature showing that amount was actually received.

3) In view of these circumstances, Writ Petition is allowed. Direction is hereby given to the Collector to decide the representation made by the petitioner on 28.4.2016 within 30 days from today. In those terms, rule is made absolute.
