The petitioner's application for grant of parole leave on health reasons has been turned down. He is therefore, before this court. 3.

The petitioner is a life convict. Presently, he is in open prison, Paithan. There are on record the medical papers suggesting that the petitioner is required to undergo second kidney operation in a private hospital at Sangli. In exercise of our jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, we direct respondent Nos. 3 and 4 to release the petitioner on parole leave for a period of 30 days w.e.f. 03.08.2023, on usual conditions, as are imposed in respect of other prisoners. Since the petitioner is in open prison, he be released on P.R. bond of Rs.5000/- (Rupees five thousand).
