During the course of argument it transpires that this is a second attempt by the applicant to seek anticipatory bail from this Court. His earlier ABA No.529/2020 having been dismissed already. 2.

Pertinently, the present Application is absolutely silent about even filing of such earlier Application and its rejection. Obviously, there is absolutely no whisper in the Application as to how there is any change in the circumstances since rejection of the earlier Application. The Supreme Court in the recent judgment in the case of G.R. Anand Babu Vs. State of Tamil Nadu; Criminal Appeal No.84/2021 (Arising out of SLP (Cri) No.213 of 2021 dated 28.01.2021 has depreciated such practice of filing successive applications for anticipatory bail without there being any apparent change in the circumstances.

Precisely for this reason even the learned Additional Sessions Judge has rejected the Application for anticipatory bail. 4.
