By this application, the applicants seek to add pleadings to the memo of the writ petition and put forth certain additional prayers.

Though the learned counsel for the respondents oppose the application, they seek liberty to file additional affidavit in reply in the event of the amendment being allowed. 3.

We have perused the reasons cited in the application for introducing certain paragraphs in the petition. They are also

*2* 911ca3144o21 based on subsequent events in the light of the Classification of Service, Recruitment and Promotion Rules submitted by the MIDC, having been approved by the Government, which, after issuance of the notification dated 21.08.2018 are termed as the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation Fire OfficersEmployees (Classification of Service, Recruitment and Promotion) Regulation, 2013.

As such, this Civil Application is allowed. Let the amendment be carried out on or before 01.10.2021 and copies of the amended petition be supplied to the colleague advocates in the matter.

Since the respondents are aware of the paragraphs which are to be introduced by an amendment, an additional affidavit in reply to meet the new pleadings, shall be filed on or before 08.10.2021.

List this petition on 11.10.2021 in the hearing category. The parties to note that this matter is likely to be taken up for final hearing at admission stage after the urgent admissions board is over.
