PER COURT:- 1.

The petitioner seeks direction for termination of pregnancy. The length of pregnancy is 20 weeks 06 days.

We had referred petitioner to the committee constituted by the Dean, Government Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad.

The committee has examined petitioner and had submitted the following report:

"We have thoroughly examined Rohini w/o Balaji Waghmare and her obstetric Sonography report. - On obstetric ultra-sonography dated 31/07/2019 done at GMC, Aurangabad. Following findings are noted a.

Length of Pregnancy : Gestational Age 20 weeks 06 days.

(2) 996-wp-9416-2019 b.

Single live intrauterine fetus with left sided choroid plexus cyst of size 5x4 mm Taking into consideration the above findings, there is not evidence of substantial risk to the fetus if born. Choroid plexus cyst are considered part of normal human variation and do not require any treatment. Hence committee does not recommend termination of pregnancy." 4.

In view of the opinion given by the committee that there is no evidence of substantial risk to the fetus if born and the committee has opined that it does not recommend the termination of pregnancy, the petitioner cannot be granted permission to terminate the pregnancy.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
