The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner had moved the proposal with the Headmaster with regard to change the caste and name in the school record.

The learned counsel appearing for the Headmaster, on instructions, states that the said proposal would be forwarded to the Education Officer.

The Education Officer, on receipt of the said proposal, shall consider the same as per clause 26.4 of the Secondary School Code read with Appendix 6, on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within six months from the date of receipt of the said proposal.
