After hearing learned counsel for petitioners for quite some time, learned counsel for petitioners, on instructions, resile to a situation, wherein there can be direction to appellate authority, to decide on the pending appeals expeditiously. The elections would be subject to outcome of the appeals.

Writ petitions, as such, are not entertained and are rejected.
