DATE : 15/09/2017 PER COURT :- Mr.Jadhavar, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners are elected councilors of Municipal Council, Kandhar. They are elected from reserved category. The proposal seeking validity to their caste claims is referred to the Committee, however, the same is not yet decided and Municipal Council is intending to take adverse action against the petitioner.

2] Respondent no.2 Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously,

968&973 -2preferably within six months. Petitioners shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the said proceeding.

3] In view of that, Writ Petition is disposed of. Mr.Jadhavar, learned counsel submits that the judgment of the Full Bench of this Court is stayed by Apex Court in S.L.P.No.29874-29874 of 2016, as such, the respondents cannot initiate any adverse action against the petitioners.

4] In case, the respondent initiates any action, petitioners can bring it to the notice of the Municipal Council or authority concerned in view of the judgment of the Apex Court granting stay to the judgment of the Full Bench of this Court.
