PER COURT :- 1.

The Court suggested that the amount directed to be deposited by the petitioner for continuing the appeal pending before the Appellate Tribunal should be reduced to Rs.15.00 lacs (Fifteen lacs). On such deposit, the appeal shall continue and without seeking any adjournment, the petitioner shall prosecute the appeal. The Tribunal is also requested to dispose of the appeal as soon as possible. The concession in the deposit is only to see that the appeal is decided on merits and, that too as soon as possible. The Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. Upon deposit of the appeal, the order passed today shall come to an end. The petitioner is allowed to deposit Rs.15 lacs (Rs. Fifteen lacs) as condition precedent for stay and shall continue with the hearing of the appeal. The amount shall be deposited within FOUR WEEKS from today.
