It is informed by the learned AGP that the petitioner is held disqualified in dispute filed before the Collector, under the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act by order dated 18-082022. Said order is challenged directly before this High Court. During pendency of the petition, the petitioner has resigned from the post of Sarpanch. New election has taken place and now the new person has also been elected and he has taken the charge of the post of Sarpanch. It is thus submitted that this petition has become infructuous in view of the subsequent

Learned advocate for the petitioner does not dispute the said position.

In view of above, the petition stands disposed off as infructous.

Needless to say that interim relief also stands vacated.
