The petitioner has put forth prayer Clause 'B' as under :- (B) By way of issuing appropriate writ, order or direction like in nature, this Hon'ble Court may please to direct the Respondent No.1 to decide the proposal of petitioner for renewal of CL-III License No.95, situated at Udgir, Tq. Udgir, Dist. Latur, which is forwarded by the Respondent No.2 Commissioner, State Excise Department on 17.02.2021 to the Respondent No.1 on its own merits within stipulated period and for that purpose issue necessary order.

It is pointed out that the Superintendent State Excise, Latur, has forwarded the proposal of the petitioner to the Commissioner State Excise Maharashtra State at Mumbai on 17/02/2021. It is, therefore, submitted that respondent No.1 should decide the proposal of the petitioner dated 17/02/2021.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the proposal for renewal of CL-III License No.95 dated 17/02/2021, as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 15/12/2022, on its on merits.
