This application is filed for fixing early date of hearing of Criminal Appeal No.752/2004. It is submitted that the applicant is acquitted by the learned Special Judge from the offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act. However, because of the pendency of the appeal, the retiral benefits and other service benefits are not being paid to the applicant and therefore there is urgency.

Considering that the appeal is of 2004, this Court finds that it would be proper to fix the matter for final hearing. Hence, the application is allowed.

Place the Criminal Appeal No.752/2004 for final hearing on 24.01.2023.
