This petition is filed for a limited purpose seeking a direction to respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner of belonging Thakur Schedule Tribe at the earliest. 2.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner invited attention of this Court to the vigilance cell report dated 29.10.2024 and response thereto filed by the petitioner before the respondent No. 2 - Scrutiny Committee dated 23.06.2025. It is submitted that since the proceedings before the said respondent are at the aforesaid stage, the tribe claim can be decided at the earliest.

The urgency in the matter is that the petitioner is a student who

2 72 WP 9504-2025.odt has applied for admission to M.B.A. course and he has also been allotted a college and validity certificate is to be produced on or before 04.09.2025.

In view of the above, we dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent No. 2 - Scrutiny Committee to consider and decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case on or before on 28.08.2025.
