This is an application for quashment of the FIR, being Crime No.229 of 2022, registered with Amalner Police Station, Tq. Amalner, Dist. Jalgaon, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 504 and 506 of Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the applicants and learned counsel for respondent no.2 are present before the court. They submit that the parties approached the Civil Court for obtaining mutual decree of dissolution of marriage and the same has been granted by order dated
28-crappln2902.2022 23.01.2024, pursuant to the consent terms of both sides. They have drawn our attention to the said decree and compromise. 04.
Learned APP opposes the application.

Considering the nature of the offence and in view of the consent terms, which are accepted by learned Jt. Civil Judge, Senior Division, Bhusawal, we allow the application in terms of prayer clauses (b) and (b-1).
