Today, the learned counsel Shri.Suryawanshi holding for learned counsel Shri. Shirsath submits that Shri. Shirsath is not feeling well. He has not come to the Court. No leave note is given by Shri. Shirsath. On 11.12.2020, itself this Court had expressed that this Court has no territorial jurisdiction over the matter, as death took place in Nasik Jail.

Only to give an opportunity to the counsel to satisfy this Court on the point of territorial jurisdiction, on the request, the matter was kept on 12.1.2021. On 12.1.2021, learned counsel Shri. Shirsath again sought time and it was made it clear that, it was a last chance to him and so the matter was kept today.

( 2 ) 51 Cri WP 1921-20 Today, again adjournment is sought.

By Notifcation, the territorial jurisdiction of this Court is fxed. Over Nasik Jail, territorial jurisdiction is not with this Court. Death took place in Nasik Jail. This Court cannot make inquiry into that death and cannot grant compensation as claimed in the present matter, as this Court has no territorial jurisdiction of Nasik Jail. So this matter is disposed of for want of territorial jurisdiction.
