In the light of the clarification by Mr.Patil, learned AGP and particularly, the publication on the website of the Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State as well as the communication dated 19.07.2017 issued by the Director of Technical Education, all apprehensions of the Petitioner are without any basis. Every single College/ Institution which is recognized and imparting education in Engineering and particularly in Diploma or Bachelor Degree or Master Degree course would have to abide by this clarification/ communication dated 19.07.2017 as each one of them comes under the auspices of the Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State.

*2* 2wp9632o17nob In the event and as assured by the learned AGP, if any individual Institution/ College does not abide by the communication dated 19.07.2017, such cases be brought to the notice of the Directorate of Technical Education and the said Directorate can be accessed even by emails by the students. The Directorate of Technical Education will render necessary assistance to all such students who have been called upon by the College or anybody in-charge of the admission process to first produce the caste/ tribe validity certificate and then only they will be considered for admission or further studies.

In the light of the above clarification, we need not consider individual petitions hereafter. This Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
