The Petitioner's claim of belonging to the Koli Mahadev Scheduled Tribe Category, is pending validation with the competent committee, since 11.11.2020. She is in employment with Respondent No.3, as a Staff Nurse. She apprehends termination, if she does not submit her validity certificate since she was appointed on 29.02.2024 and joined on 07.03.2024, on a post reserved for the Scheduled Tribe. She is presently on probation. 2.

The learned AGP submits that the proposal would be decided by 15.02.2025.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with the direction to Respondent No.4/ Committee to decide the claim of the Petitioner

( 2 ) 907 wp 8432.24 as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 31.12.2024. The service of the Petitioner would not be terminated on account of the pendency of the claim. So also, the Petitioner's service would not be converted from probation to confirmed employment, until her claim is validated either by the Committee or by this Court.

By consent, the Petitioner would appear before the Committee on 02.09.2024. Notices are dispensed with.
