The learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents/State submits that, the petitioners have alternate remedy as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Irrigation Act, 1976 against the notice issued U/Sec. 111 and 19 of the said Act. 2.

In view of that, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to avail the alternate remedy. In that event all contentions are kept open. No costs.

For a period of one (01) week from today, petitioners' possession may not be disturbed so as to enable the petitioners to avail the alternate remedy. The petitioners may pray for further orders as may be permissible before the appropriate forum.
