The petitioner is seeking appointment on compassionate ground. It is being pointed out that respondent No. 3 - Education Officer has already addressed a communication to respondent No. 5 - Headmaster.

Suffice for the purpose of absorption that it would be for the management to consider the request on its own merits and in accordance with the policy, if any applicable to the fact situation. 1/2

911 WP NO. 9537 OF 2023.odt Since the decision is yet to be taken by the management on the application of the petitioner, irrespective of the difficulties being faced by the management, it will have to take some decision either favourable or otherwise on the petitioner's application. 4.

With this limited scope at this juncture, the writ petition is disposed of, directing respondent No. 4 to consider the petitioner's application on its own merits and in accordance with the applicable policy. The decision shall be taken as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within six (06) weeks, under the communication to the petitioner.
