The applicant was convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 354 and 354 (D) of the Indian Penal Code (for short 'IPC') and is sentenced to suffer R.I. for a term of 1 year and to pay fine of Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred) and in default of payment of fine he shall suffer S.I. for 15 days in each Sections. He was also convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 451 of the IPC and is sentenced to suffer R.I. for a term of six months and to pay fine of Rs. 200/- (Two Hundred) and in default of payment of fine he shall suffer S.I. for 10 days.

The applicant was on bail during the pendency of the

906criappln2143.21 trial. After conviction he was released on bail by the trial Court and there are no allegations against the applicant that he has misused the provisions of bail while on bail.

It will take some time for final hearing of the main appeal, hence following order is passed :

ORDER

a.

Application is allowed.

b.

Applicant is ordered to be released on bail on his executing PB and SB in the sum of Rs. 15,000/- (Rs. Fifteen Thousand) with direction that till disposal of appeal, he shall attend the hearing of the appeal regularly.
