The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the validation proceeding is pending since the year 2007. The same is not decided. In the year 2016, the petitioner has also filed say to the vigilance report.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 and 2 and submits that, in case proceeding is pending, the Committee would decide the same on its own merits.

In case, the validation proceeding is pending with the respondent No. 2, then the respondent No. 2 shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months from the date

2 wp 548.21 of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 19.01.2021.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
