Mr. Undre, learned counsel submits that the petitioner has raised objection to the publication of the draft ward formation list. The same has not been considered. There are no changes made in the wards. The wards are maintained similar as in the last election. The ward formation is against the rules. The same has not been considered by the respondents.

Mr. Kadethankar, learned counsel and the learned AGP submit that the Collector has considered the objections raised by the petitioner. Personal hearing was given to all the persons who have
2 920-wp-8221-2020.doc raised the objections. Opportunity of personal hearing was given to all the persons raising objections. It is for the objectors to avail the remedy. The election is also declared.

The final ward list is published on 27.10.2020. The petitioner did not assail the same and filed the petition on 07.12.2020.

Today, the election programme is also declared. No plausible explanation is coming forth for not challenging the final publication of the ward list, published on 27.10.2020 earlier. 5.
For all the aforesaid reasons, no relief can be granted. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
