The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proposal has been sent by respondent No. 3 to respondent No. 2 for commutation of pension in May 2021. No decision has been taken on it as yet by respondent No. 2.

If the proposal sent by respondent No. 3 to respondent No. 2 (page no. 13) is pending with respondent No. 2, then respondent No. 2 shall take decision upon the said proposal on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of communication of present order.
