The Petitioner is before this Court expressing a grievance about public toilets having been constructed by the Jalgaon Municipal Corporation.

We have considered his submissions and perused the petition paper-book, especially the prayers.

We do not appreciate a grievance against setting up of public toilets since that is a necessity. Grievance as regards the

(( 2 )) 78-WP-9740-2023 parking place being reduced because of the public toilets, also does not deserve to be considered since such public amenities for the purpose for which they are set up, cannot be compromised. 4.

We have requested Shri Sangeet, the learned Advocate on the panel of the Municipal Corporation, Jalgaon, to assist the Court. On our request, he has appeared before the Court. 5.

This petition is disposed off. We expect the Corporation to ensure that these public toilets are kept clean, in a hygienic condition and ensure that they do not stink. Special care be taken to keep them clean and tidy, so as to avoid complaints from shopkeepers or residents in the vicinity. We expect urgent action/response from the Corporation.
