This Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed seeking directions to the Collector to decide the complaints filed by the petitioner against Respondent Nos.6 to 18.

It appears that the Collector alone is not competent authority to decide the said complaints. The subject matter of

8995.16WP the complaints needs to be considered by the State Government and also decision needs to be taken by the State Government. Learned A.G.P. appearing for the Respondent/State informs this Court that the Collector has already forwarded the proposal to the State Government. On instructions, he further submits that, the State Government will take appropriate decision within 8 weeks from today. In that view of the matter, nothing survives for consideration in this Petition. Hence the Petition stands disposed of.
